As you might be aware Horizon Europe Marie S. Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships call will be open between 12 April 2023 and 13 September 2023.
The goal of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF) is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD, wishing to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, intersectoral and interdisciplinary mobility. MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF) are open to excellent researchers of any nationality, including researchers wishing to reintegrate in Europe, as well as researchers with high potential aiming for a career restart in research. The scheme also encourages researchers to work on research and innovation projects in the non-academic sector.
According to MSCA rules, supported fellows of PF must be postdoctoral researchers at the date of the call deadline, i.e. in a possession of a doctoral degree and at the call deadline, supported researchers must have a maximum of 8 years fulltime equivalent experience in research, measured from the date of award of the doctoral degree. Recruited researchers must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the beneficiary (for European Postdoctoral Fellowships), or the host organisation for the outgoing phase (for Global Postdoctoral Fellowships) for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline. European Postdoctoral Fellowships should last between 12 and 24 months. Global Postdoctoral Fellowships should last between 24 and 36 months, consisting of 12 to 24 months for the outgoing phase and 12 months for the return phase.

For those who wish to submit a MSCA-PF proposal, TÜBİTAK provides MSCA PF Pre-evaluation Support Programme. This support is for the researchers who have made their project proposals ready to submit to the European Commission. Researchers who will apply to MSCA PF and in their project proposal accept to perform 1 year of their research in Türkiye can benefit from the support. In other words, the applicants leading out of Europe and coming back to Türkiye for at least 12 months (Global Fellowship) and the applicants coming to Türkiye from abroad for the duration of 12-24 months (European Fellowships) are considered for evaluation. This support mechanism will stay open between 12 April - 28 July 2023 and provided by TÜBİTAK.
However, proposals for MSCA-PF call is directly submitted to European Commission online portal. In order to share all those call specific details, TÜBİTAK is organizing online “MSCA 2023 Calls Conference” on Thursday, 27 April, 2023. As mentioned in the attached Agenda below, morning speakers from European Executive Agency will be sharing MSCA-PF call info; whereas afternoon sessions will be dedicated to other MSCA 2023 calls such as (MSCA Doctoral Networks (DN); MSCA Staff Exchanges (SE); MSCA COFUND) and also EURAXESS Network.
