We invite all research and innovation actors who wish to make a strong and well-prepared start in the Horizon Europe Programme to join our General Introductory Training, which will be held in Kayseri on 29 January 2026 in collaboration with Erciyes University and Erciyes Teknopark.
The event is organised under the “Türkiye in Horizon Europe” Technical Assistance Project, co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye, implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, with TÜBİTAK as the End Recipient of Assistance and supported under the Competitive Sectors Programme. It aims to help participants engage in the programme in a more informed and better-prepared manner.
This training is designed to present the key elements of the Horizon Europe Programme in a clear and accessible way. Its main objective is to raise awareness about the processes that participants may encounter in the programme, and to help them become better prepared to take part.
The session is structured as a basic guidance activity for institutions and individuals who have the potential to apply to Horizon Europe. At the same time, it offers participants with previous application experience an opportunity to refresh their knowledge and shape their roadmap in light of the latest updates in the programme.
The training materials are based on the European Commission’s Horizon Europe literature and include practical insights prepared from an evaluator’s perspective. In addition, the event will provide participants with opportunities for one-to-one interaction with TÜBİTAK National Contact Points.
In Kayseri, we aim to address not only the technical aspects of proposal preparation, but also the strategic perspective behind successful applications. The main topics to be covered are as follows:

The training will be delivered in English by European experts, and no interpretation will be provided.
Those who complete the pre-registration are required to receive confirmation by e-mail from the Project Team in order to attend. Event venue details and other practical information will be shared only with confirmed participants.
The event is free of charge. However, all related expenses, including travel, accommodation and other logistical costs, are the responsibility of the participants.
As participation is limited, each institution is kindly requested to register only one representative.
