GENERAL & INTRODUCTORY TRAINING NO.5

Training consisted of a session (S1) that explained the rationale behind the EU policies expressed in the HE Strategic Plan and the Work Programme for 2021-2022. In addition, we covered HE structure, EU Priorities, expected impact and corresponding Work Programme Destinations. In Session 2, we covered the new call documents, eligibility and admissibility rules, financial and operational capacity and, of course, HE novelties. Finally, a dedicated session focused on specific calls under Pillar II: ICT & Digital Transformation & Resilient Industry in Horizon Europe (Cluster 4). The sessions were structured in such a way to help participants grasp the main concepts of Horizon Europe and its Strategic Plan in just one webinar.

TÜBİTAK-France Bosphorus Program Call is Opened

Joint research projects will be supported under the Bosphorus Program within the framework of Cooperation Agreement between The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Scientists in Turkey who want to propose a joint research project must agree with the researcher(s) working in the research institutions in France with whom they will carry out the project together as "project partners". Unilateral project applications are not accepted.

The Call is open to all thematic fields.

Deadline for Submission: 7th of June 2021, 23:59 (Local Time in Turkey).

A maximum of 350.000 TL will be provided by TÜBİTAK for the research team in Turkey to cover the travel, dissemination and scholarship costs. Project Incentive Premium (PIP) and overhead will not be covered within the framework of this Call.

The duration of projects will not exceed 24 months.

27-30 Nisan 2021 AB Bilgi Değerlendirme Haftası etkinliği

27-30 Nisan 2021 tarihleri arasında Avrupa Komisyonu Araştırma ve Yenilikçilik Genel Müdürlüğü tarafından "AB Bilgi Değerlendirme Haftası 2021" etkinliği düzenlenecektir. Bilgi Değerlendirme Haftası kapsamında araştırma sonuçlarının herkese fayda sağlayacak şekilde değerlendirilebilmesi için en iyi uygulama örneklerinin sergilenmesi hedeflenmektedir.

TRANSCAN-3 ERA-NET Cofund 2021 Yılı Uluslararası Ortak Çağrısı Açıldı!

Translasyonel kanser araştırmalarını destekleyen fonlama kuruluşlarını bir araya getiren TRANSCAN-3 ERA-NET Cofund projesi, 2021 yılı Uluslararası Ortak Çağrısı (JTC2021) açıldı. JTC2021 çağrısının konusu "Yeni nesil kanser immünoterapisi: tümör mikroçevresini hedeflemek (Next generation cancer immunotherapy: targeting the tumour microenvironment)" olarak belirlenmiştir. Projelerin, çağrı kapsamında belirlenen 6 alt hedeften en az bir tanesini kapsamaları beklenmektedir.

Proje başvuruları, konsorsiyum koordinatörü tarafından Uluslararası Çağrı Sekreteryasına İngilizce olarak yapılmalıdır. Training is composed of 4 sessions. Session 1 explains the rationale behind the EU policies as they are expressed in the 1st Strategic Plan 2021-2024 and the Work Programme for 2021-2022. It covers Horizon Europe structure, EU Priorities, expected impact and corresponding Work Programme Destinations. In Session 2, the new call documents, eligibility and admissibility rules, financial and operational capacity, proposal template and Horizon Europe novelties are presented. Session 3 is a session dedicated to presenting specific calls under Pillar II focused on Energy in Horizon Europe (Cluster 5). Finally, in Session 4, Turkish experiences in participation are presented based on a successful project in Horizon 2020. The sessions are structured in such a way to help participants grasp the main concepts of Horizon Europe and its Strategic Plan in just one webinar and understand its links to the Work Programme and Calls.

WEBINAR 8; ‘THE NEW EIC ACCELERATOR PROGRAMME’

The Webinar content began with an initial presentation from TÜBİTAK, informing participants of the support available to SMEs engaging in Horizon Europe. This was followed by a brief presentation on the ‘Turkey in Horizon 2020’ project and how it now includes Horizon Europe, even though the project name remains the same.  A presentation on Horizon Europe followed, which outlined the support available through the three main ‘pillars of support and special initiatives such as Green Deal, Cluster activities, etc. The final presentation provided an overview of the application process for the EIC Accelerator, from initial online questions and application form, through to the second stage, full proposal.

INFORMATION MULTIPLIERS SYSTEM TRAINING ON HORIZON EUROPE: LEGAL AND FINANCIAL ISSUES IN HORIZON EUROPE

This 2-day training event aimed to familiarise participants with Horizon Europe Legal & Financial issues. The training covered a general overview of Horizon Europe, participation rules, actions funded, project preparation phase (budget, costs, proposal template, etc.), project management agreements and rules, an overview of Model Grant Agreement, and national specificities administrative and financial management. Participants are nominated by TUBITAK Information Multipliers, i.e. key actors supporting their organization and networks, to get involved in framework programmes projects.
