Ufuk2020 programında tematik alanlar özelinde açılan çağrılar dışında,  INNOSUP 01 programı kapsamında “üçüncü taraflara açılan çağrılar” başlığı altında KOBİ’lerin başvuracağı çağrılar ya da ödüller çoğunlukta olmakla birlikte farklı kurum, kuruluş veya araştırmacıların konsorsiyumlu ya da konsorsiyumsuz başvuracağı çağrılar bulunmaktadır. Çağrı konuları ise ilgili olduğu INNOSUP 01 projesi doğrultusunda Ufuk2020 ile ilintili farklı konu ve problemleri içermektedir. The main goal is to incentivize EU – US teams to carry out experiments with NGI technologies. The focus will be the first set of priority topics of the EU’s NGI Initiative in which some results are already available to be partnered with an US team and experimental platform of the proposer’s choice. Call 1 topics: Key enabling NGI technologies such as 5G, IoT, cybersecurity, A.I., and others, addressing 1. Privacy & Trust enhancing technologies, 2. Decentralized data governance, or 3. Discovery and identification technologies. Reliability, confidentiality, integrity and security should be the 'new normal' of the internet, something ordinary users should not have to worry about. Trust (or rather trustworthiness) is one of the key drivers for the Next Generation Internet initiative, and an adequate level of privacy is a non-negotiable requirement for that. NGI0 PET aims to assist independent researchers and developers to create powerful new technology that benefit end users, and to help them put it in the hands of future generations as building blocks for a fair and democratic society and an open economy that benefits all. This concerns any technological component internet users collectively depend on, and which can be improved with regards to trustworthiness and privacy preserving characteristics. Examples include open hardware, internet and web protocols, operating system security, encryption tools and services. We are looking for new ideas and core technologies that help society tackle hard but very very important questions, each of which has significant social and economic consequences. The project results become available under an open source license, so anyone can read and validate the source code, and anyone can use the code to create technology that fits their own purposes.

The following types of activities qualify for financial support, provided they are cost effective and have a clear link to the topics directly relevant to NGI0 PET mentioned above - privacy and trust enhancing technologies - and the objectives set out in the call:

  • scientific research
  • design and development of open source software and open hardware
  • validation or constructive inquiry into existing or novel technical solutions
  • software engineering aimed at adapting to new usage areas or improving software quality
  • formal security proofs, security audits, setup and design of software testing and continuous integration

Task description:

European Data Incubator (EDI) is an EU-funded Big Data incubator offering a dedicated incubation programme and a total of €5 000 000 equity-free funding to EU-based start-ups and teams. Task description:

Block.IS aims to provide to competitive and market oriented European SMEs access to knowledge, technology, capital and markets with the aim to place new products/services in the market targeting blockchain technology. The most innovative, competitive and market oriented blockchain-based application proposals in the areas of agrifood, logistics and finance will be selected to start an “Innovate - Experiment - Commercialise” stages programme.

SMEs participating in the INNOVATE stage will be invited to fine-tune their concept, elaborate an early prototype or mock-up and the technical architecture of the proposed solution and prepare a tech-business pitch to present at the Innovation Event/Clusters-Innovators Assembly.

SMEs participating in the EXPERIMENT stage will develop an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) targeting the agrifood, logistics and/or finance market. The EXPERIMENT stage has two sub phases, Design and Implementation & Validation. In the end of the Design sub-phase SMEs will need to submit deliverable 1 specifying the implementation approach. In the end of the Implementation & Validation sub-phase SMEs need to submit deliverable 2 documenting project implementation and deliverable 3 with business and exploitation plan.

SMEs participating in the COMMERCIALISE stage will develop activities associated with the promotion and exploitation of their project, aiming to engage new customers and/or partners and/or investors.

It is expected to attract and engage up to 200 MBD CPS products & services and grow beyond the project timeline. The expected result of Call #1.1 PULL is the growth of the HUBCAP ecosystem offering.

Remotely and within F6S platform, the HUBCAP Quality Assessment Board, composed by selected people within the HUBCAP DIHs partners, will be the evaluators of Call #1.1 PULL, they have the best experience in HUBCAP MBD CPS technologies, and will evaluate each asset application, scoring it based on the following evaluation criteria:

  • Criterion 1: Concept fit - Business fit to HUBCAP scope and relevance to CPS domains.
  • Criterion 2: Technology - Innovation, asset specification and technical capacity of a TRL 8-9 and IPR.
