As an organization of more than 2,000 leading researchers that promotes excellence in the life sciences in Europe and beyond, EMBO coordinates the EMBO Young Scientists Forum providing a great opportunity for young scientists (doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers) to share their findings and interests with an international and interdisciplinary audience and connect with fellow colleagues from various disciplines throughout Europe.
The 14th EYSF, organized by EMBO Installation Grantees from the Turkish academia, will take place at İzmir Institute of Technology in İzmir, Türkiye. The Welcome & Information Session will be held in hybrid format, open to all interested researchers and students, on September 10, between 10.00-12.00 Turkish Time (UTC +3).
In the opening session, informative presentations and speeches about EMBO Grants and Fellowship Programmess will be made by the EMBO community and researchers in Türkiye, and questions regarding the application process will be answered. The EMBO Programmes and activities are funded by the European Molecular Biology Conference (EMBC), an intergovernmental organization comprised of 31 Member States. Türkiye has been a EMBC Member States since 1993, allowing life scientists in Türkiye access to all of the EMBO Programmes and activities.
