Summary of Project
“MIND4MACHINES” project; aims to support SMEs and start-ups that develop digitalization technologies and solutions for the manufacturing industry. SMEs operating in the field of information and communication technologies are supported to establish collaborations with other relevant stakeholders, develop innovative solution ideas in the digitalization value chain, and carry out verification and demonstration studies to turn these ideas into a product close to the market.
Within the scope of MIND4MACHINES project facilitate the cross-sectoral and cross-border support needed by manufacturing SMEs to validate and adopt cross-cutting digital technologies provided by SMEs and start-ups, particularly by addressing the entire digitalisation value chain holistically, combining manufacturing and novel, disruptive solutions in ICT.
MIND4MACHINES consortium, led by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ICI) from Turkey, brings together 11 clusters and business-supporting organisations from eight countries, ensuring a complementary balance of sectoral focus, experience and approach in support of SMEs and clustering mechanisms.
MIND4MACHINES allocates around EUR 3.3 million to SMEs in the form of grants to be distributed as direct financial support to SMEs via two Open Calls.

Activities of the Project

Creating an investment ecosystem in order to increase the amount of support to be given to SMEs and startups, to cause a multiplier effect and to provide investment in the commercialization phase.
To define the level of investment suitability (IRL) of solution provider SMEs and startups
MIND4MACHINES creating an open innovation area, encouraging solution providers and companies in need to use this area
Supporting innovation scheme projects and Go-To-Market projects with two Open Calls
Increasing the professional skills and knowledge levels of solution provider SMEs / start-ups and clusters by organizing accelerator programs online courses, webinars, online meetings, bootcamps
Dissemination and promotion activities are carried out.
