Project summary: The DiCiM project is a European Union Horizon 2020 project that aims to develop integrated digital solutions that take a holistic approach to ensure the successful implementation of Circular Manufacturing Systems (CMS). The project adopts a value management approach that systematically addresses all phases of value creation, delivery, use, recovery and reuse.
The main activities of the project include developing tools/systems that enable monitoring, monitoring and condition monitoring of products during their use phase, optimizing reverse logistics processes and increasing efficiency and response time. To this end, the project will develop integrated digital solutions using the latest technologies and information, enabling production systems to become more efficient, sustainable and flexible for the circular economy.
Scientific Output/Outcome Expected From the Project: The expected scientific outputs of the DiCiM project include smart labeling technology for tracking products during use, an open access digital platform for data management and analysis, tools/systems for optimized reverse logistics processes, and training and knowledge transfer mechanisms for users to adopt digital solutions. takes.
Target Group of the Project: The DiCiM project targets companies of any size operating in the manufacturing sector in Europe, as well as supply chain partners of production equipment providers, innovative service providers, public institutions, research and education institutions and enterprises.
Importance of the project in Tackling Global Challenges: The DiCiM project is an important step towards tackling major problems on a global scale. Problems such as the increase in the world population, decrease in natural resources, increase in the amount of waste, increase in energy costs and climate change require urgent action for a sustainable future. In order to solve these problems, it is necessary to switch to a circular economy, reduce the amount of waste, save energy, use resources more efficiently and reduce carbon emissions. The DiCiM project is an important tool for the transition to a sustainable economy. This project aims to save on consumption, waste and energy costs by using the value management approach. It also aims to improve reuse, remanufacturing and recycling processes in order to extend the useful life of products. In this way, the DiCiM project will play an important role in achieving the goals of sustainable development worldwide.
Scientific/Social/Economic Innovative Contribution: The DiCiM project provides scientific, social and economic innovative contributions in many fields. Using the value management approach, this project aims to solve problems such as reducing waste, saving energy, using resources more efficiently and reducing carbon emissions. In addition, this project helps businesses make their production processes more efficient by providing innovative digital solutions. In this way, businesses can produce more products with less cost and gain competitive advantage. The DiCiM project also creates social awareness on issues such as waste management, recycling and reuse. In this way, this project provides scientific, social and economic innovative contributions and is an important step for sustainable development.
The development of professional skills and professional skills is an important goal of the DiCiM project. The digital platforms and solutions developed within the scope of the project will help users improve their skills and increase their technical knowledge. Education and training materials offered by the project will help users develop their professional skills in line with their sustainability goals. In this way, users will be able to design more efficient, sustainable and innovative business processes.
The DiCiM project will also make an important contribution to the development of human resources. The digital platforms and solutions developed within the scope of this project will support the education and learning of the users. In this way, users will be able to both improve their existing skills and acquire new skills. In addition, the collaborations and experiences made during the project process will increase the knowledge and experience of the users and the project team.
The DiCiM project is carried out with the participation of many different partners. These partners include academic institutions, industrial enterprises, non-governmental organizations and research institutes. These partners contribute to the project process with different perspectives and expertise. Thanks to these collaborations, the DiCiM project adopts a multi-faceted approach and focuses on providing solutions for sustainability.
